Catriona Croghan

Catriona (Cat) Croghan

Director and Physiotherapist. APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist

Cat represented Australia as a physiotherapist at the Sydney 2000 Olympics after three years travelling full time with the Australian Sailing Team, and is currently a physiotherapist with the Dolphins, the Australian swimming team, with whom she has travelled to World Cups, World Championships and the lead-in to Rio 2016, Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024. She has also been retained as team physiotherapist for the Young Matildas, at home and on tour.

While studying, Cat played hockey and ultimately represented Australia. She has cycled at state level and was a member of the Paralympic squad leading into Athens as a pilot for a visually impaired athlete. She has had her fair share of injuries and fully appreciates the frustration of time out of sport.

Cat has provided physiotherapy coverage for rugby union, hockey, gymnastics, martial arts and corporate sports days, spent a season in the NSW ski fields, and attended the World University Games as a physiotherapist. She is passionate about advocacy for her profession and the health of all Australians, and believes in lifelong learning, keeping up with the latest research so every patient receives the best care available.

Away from the clinic she is a wife, a mum of two active boys, a Cub Scout leader, a committee member of her local football club and an active member of her local surf club.

John Melville

John Melville

APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist

John is a titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist who has worked with recreational and professional athletes in Australia and overseas. He holds a double Masters in Sports Physiotherapy and High Performance Sport and has authored research published in the Journal of Sports Sciences.

John has a special interest in ACL rehabilitation, supporting patients through both surgical and non-surgical pathways, and tailors his approach to each person's preferences and goals. He is trained in the Cross Bracing Protocol, having worked directly with its pioneer Dr Tom Cross, and is experienced in managing patients through that treatment pathway.

Outside the clinic John is an avid surfer, snowboarder and golfer, which gives him a firsthand understanding of the demands sport places on the body, and the motivation it takes to get back to doing what you love.

Lisa Prior

Lisa Prior

Senior Physiotherapist. Master of Physiotherapy

Lisa's career spans local clubs including the Wollongong Wolves and Coniston FC, the 2022 Fiji women's national netball team during the Aus-Pacific Series, and the Australian team at the 2022 UCI Road World Championships. She played first-grade football for South Coast Flame in Women's League One before retiring for some new life goals.

Lisa's own sports injuries give her a clear view of rehabilitation from the other side of the table. She builds individual plans that fit your goals, whether that is returning to sport, improving mobility or simply living pain-free.

She is also a neurological physiotherapist, working with people facing stroke, autism, brain injury, cerebral palsy and amputation. Progress looks different for everyone, and she celebrates the small victories that make a big difference to quality of life.

Off duty, Lisa watches the Matildas and F1, hikes, climbs indoors, runs and spends time with friends. She believes in balancing movement with connection, and brings that energy to every session.

Salvador Ribeiro

Salvador Ribeiro

Sal comes from Portugal and plays rugby, so you will often see him tanned and bruised. Early in his career he was part of an ICU team working with mechanical ventilators, before sports and musculoskeletal conditions drew him to an osteopathic and physiotherapy clinic looking after professional and semi-professional athletes in dance, rugby, football, handball and basketball.

Into sport since childhood, with a background in musculoskeletal work and biomechanics, Sal understands injuries from both sides: he has been on the receiving end of treatment many times.

Blake is a sporty, energetic physio with an extensive background in sport, including time with the Wests Tigers and the Canberra Raiders. He plays rugby league and enjoys an afternoon surf.

Blake is a strong advocate for his patients and committed to ongoing learning so his treatment stays current and evidence-based. He holds dry needling qualifications and has covered rugby, hockey and the National Swimming Championships. He loves a laugh while getting the best out of his patients.

Jayden Pacitto

Jayden's path into physiotherapy grew out of a lifelong passion for sport; he still plays football and golf. He has worked as a sports trainer with several football teams, the Northern District Lions AFL club and the Wollongong Mustangs gridiron team.

Jo Vickery

Jo works closely with each person to understand their goals, write a practical recovery plan and support them every step of the way, with the aim of restoring movement, preventing re-injury and keeping you pain-free for the long term.

Melissa (Mel) Eastwood

Practice Manager

Mel runs the front of house and sets the tone for how our support staff look after you. She has spent many years in health and sport as an elite athlete, a PE teacher and now a personal trainer, and is a full-time mum to four kids, as well as to all of us. What Mel doesn't know isn't worth knowing.

Darren has practised as a naturopath and musculoskeletal practitioner since 1998. His main focus is musculoskeletal therapy: he took his postgraduate musculoskeletal training with Dr Paul Conneely in Sydney, and has worked in the field with passion and dedication ever since, building a significant client base.
